How does the idea of super fast fibre optic internet sound? Pretty damn sweet for the target audience of KPN and N=5’s campaign Operatie Glasvezel.

 

The concept was based around a tactile ‘spam’ operation by kids on their parents convincing them that fibreglass internet is indeed a sweet deal. Kids promise to do a certain chore for a period of time, and as a concession the parents will receive personalised actions over the span of 1 week: a personalised e-card, wallpaper, nu.nl banner, mug and parents who stick out the week long offensive go in the running to win a painting.

 

N=5 were the creative brains behind the KPN operation, whereas thispagecannotbefound.com were the muscle in the technical realm. Using a responsive framework, the application is cross-device friendly and snappy when serving videos. The bright colours and bold texts were just right for the younger audience, and we spiced up the painted illustrations with the usual JS animation hot sauce. http://operatieglasvezel.nl

The Schiphol Oranje Uitzwaaien campaign was a challenging (but successful) cross-device build. Built using a composite view approach utilising Backbone-Marionette, we applied a SVG sprite optimised technique for the icon system, used both CSS3 (based on percentage widths) and Flash techniques to view videos within hexagon shapes, and added some visual JS animation magic - PHP also had some fun in the backend, slicing and dicing video compilations on the fly. Working closely with FHV BBDO, we’ve collected a lot of waves for Holland in the World Cup - success jongens!

We worked on a fun campaign with N=5 of Jet Boeke’s little ginger cat for KPN Begin Gemist. A simple go-through-the-steps to personalise a copy of Waar is Dikkie Dik? for your favourite little person. Combining HTML5, CSS3, Canvas and Javascript animations, we added some extra spice into Dikkie Dik and his little friends. Only available to KPN customers with a special code, the application was optimised for multiple devices and good ol' Facebook.

The KPN #voeljevrij campaign featuring Jett Rebel and his latest music release “Feeling Good”, is a magical mix of old school Flash for desktop and new school "on the fly" video rendering for mobile. Working in collaboration with the creative minds at Energize Amsterdam, the result is a real time sir-mix-a-lot of dynamic user generated “vrij" moments. Learning a new language is a fun and trumping task, so when the opportunity came to utilise Google’s new programming language Dart - we thought “hell yes!”.

 

The Oddshop approached thispage to work together on an exciting project for the Nationale Postcode Lotterij. Influenced by the classic Snake game, we used Dart, Canvas, jQuery and good old HTML to bring their 8bit city to life across desktop, tablet and mobile - with all those powers combined, Trucksnake was born. He roars through the streets collecting envelopes, picking up Quinty and Gaston’s, but gets stumped by pylons. There’s a weekly draw of the highest scores so everyone gets a chance at the big bucks!

We recently worked on a super cool project for the Art Directors Club Netherlands. IRIS is the all-seeing infrared eye that upon looking into her pupil, she captures and relays human properties of ADCN members. Using Facial Recognition algorithms and infrared light, IRIS will be featured at ADCN events to recognise and welcome members in a unique way.
